Please join us  for our annual meeting in Manchester. BAPO is the premier paediatric now 2-day meeting. Catch up with friends whilst keeping up to date with all the latest developments. We are delighted to have four North American guest speakers. Steve Sobol will deliver the prestigious John Evans lecture, which will be about wellness. We are also delighted to be joined by Kara, Soham and Scott who are all world renown experts in the field. There will be an AGM on Friday for members. BAPO tickets remain very reasonably priced thanks largely to our generous sponsors.  There is an option to attend virtually.

BAPOJ Travelling Fellowship Prize

£1,000

Closing Date: 6th September

The submission for the BAPOJ travelling fellowship prize will be a 500 word response to answer the following statement:

“Given the lower post operative haemorrhage rate from intracapsular coblation tonsillectomy should all paediatric tonsillectomies be undertaken using this operative technique?”

All BAPOJ members are eligible to apply if they are going on a national or international senior paediatric fellowship and/or international fellows undertaking a recognised senior paediatric fellowship in the UK. Exam revision course

BAPOJ

This year, BAPOJ will be holding an exam revision course for paeds. This all day course will be free to BAPOJ members who attend at least one day of the annual meeting. The cost for non-members is £50 – and places are strictly limited.

BAPO Social Event

Thursday 19th September, 7pm

This year the evening social event will be held in the heart of Manchester at The Alchemist Spinningfields, only a 4-minute walk from Manchester Hall. You can add this social event onto your  conference booking at an additional cost of £10, which gives you entry, 2 drinks and 2 small plates of food. We look forward to seeing you there!
