BAPO 2025 Annual Meeting.

The BAPO Annual Meeting 2025 took place on Thursday 11th – Friday 12th September at the Sir Charles Wilson Building, University of Glasgow. Delegates heard from world-class speakers, caught up with colleagues, and explored the latest developments in paediatric otorhinolaryngology. You can explore highlights from the meeting below and look at the agenda.

Abstract Submissions

Free paper sessions ran throughout the meeting, and abstracts were invited online. Submitters could indicate a preference for oral or poster presentation, with the final decision was made by the BAPO Scientific Committee. BAPO 2024 Annual Meeting.

Manchester

In Manchester in 2024 we were delighted to welcome delegates to the BAPO Annual Meeting, featuring exceptional speakers including four North American guests. Steve Sobol (Philadelphia) delivered the prestigious John Evans Lecture on wellness, alongside world-renowned experts Kara Prickett (Atlanta), Soham Roy (Denver) and Scott Rickert (New York).

London

In 2023 we were honoured to welcome Baroness Helena Kennedy as a guest speaker. The John Evans Lecture was delivered by Professor Dana Thompson (Chicago), alongside expert contributions from Professor Alessandro de Alarcon (Cincinnati) and Professor Francois Simon (Paris), co-founder of Otology in Paris, who shared their experience and insights.

BAPO 2022 Annual Meeting.

Bristol

In Bristol in 2022 we delivered a strong academic and educational programme. Our international faculty included Natalie Loudon (Paris) and Steve Sobol (Philadelphia). The John Evans Lecture was delivered by the inimitable Mike Rutter (Cincinnati), whose work in airway surgery continued to push boundaries and both inspired and challenged the audience.
