The ENT rapid is an example of a High Intensity Theatre’s (HIT) Operating List. The lists maximises operating time efficiency by grouping high numbers of similar operations and reducing turnaround time between procedures.
An all day operating list would usually have up to 10 patients undergoing surgery. The ENT Rapid List has 20 patients on a single all day operating list. Find out more by watching the video below.
