Marianne Elloy has been an ENT Consultant in Leicester since 2012 providing specialist paediatric ENT tertiary level care in the East Midlands.
She completed a Paediatric ENT fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital and has a Masters in Medical Education and a BA(Hons) Business Management. She has a passion for education and quality improvement.
She led the ENT department as Head of Service for 4 years and is currently the paediatric lead developing new dedicated ENT facilities for children as part of Leicester’s new Children Hospital project.
She has extensive experience in Medical Education and was Clinical Co-Lead for Simulation for Leicester Medical School for 6 years. During this time she established a longitudinal theme of patient safety simulations within the curriculum. She has recently been appointed as Chair of the CPD Committee of ENTUK and is a member of the ESPO 2023 Local Scientific Committee. She is a member of the East Midlands Training Committee. She was a Midlands Institute of Otolaryngology Council Member(2013-9) and Trainee Rep for BAPO(2009-10).
Marianne is standing for BAPO council to have the opportunity to contribute on a national level to enhance the quality of ENT services for families and educational opportunities for clinicians.
