Kwamena Amonoo-Kuofi is a consultant ENT surgeon at the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and was appointed in 2014. He has an adult practice as well as a subspecialty interest in paediatric ENT supported by a Paediatric fellowship at the Starship Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand. He has an interest in airway surgery, paediatric nasolacrimal conditions, benign head and neck surgery, sleep disordered breathing as well as general paediatric ENT.
He has a keen interest in education and simulation training. He is involved in undergraduate medical training at Southampton University and is a facilitator for training in human factors for surgical registrars within the Wessex deanery. He is also involved in regional simulation courses.
His outside interests include hockey coaching and athletics (vets league sprinting!).
