The BAPO conference was broadcast online via Zoom on 23rd – 24 September and the recordings will continue to be available to delegates for a further six weeks following the meeting. Eight strong candidates have been nominated for election to the BAPO council. The vote will be held during the annual general meeting on Friday 24th September 2021. The three highest scoring candidates will be elected. In case of a tie there will be a runoff election during the same meeting.
Members of BAPO who are interested in standing for election to the council are invited to contact firstname.lastname@example.org with expressions of interest. Please include names of a proposer and seconder by 17th September 2021.

The deadline for abstract submissions for the annual meeting is approaching, ensure to submit your abstract by midnight on 31st July 2021.
The 15th Congress of the European Society for Paediatric Otolaryngology, originally planned to be held in Marseille has been changed to a fully online meeting which will be going ahead on 6th – 9th November 2021. ESPO will be providing a world-class selection of speakers and sessions and are still showcasing Marseille and the Provence throughout the virtual conference. The virtual conference will be CME accredited and all sessions will be recorded and available to view up to 6 months after the event.
Abstracts of up to 250 words are invited for consideration of inclusion in the upcoming Annual Scientific Meeting which will be taking place on 23rd and 24th September. Multiple prizes including the Joanna Leighton prize will be available for the best presentation in each category.
The deadline for submissions will be midnight on 31st July 2021. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by email within a week of the closing date.

The Annual Scientific meeting will be going ahead on 23rd and 24th September at the Bramall Music Hall at Birmingham University. The two days of sessions will be simultaneously streamed online to allow for social distancing requirements.
